She's safe with me! Protective case for the bus and one for the box! Excellent survivor for 56 years old!

 

My missus is very happy for that, she said that’s the only old one she has, all the others were from the 90s and already gone, that one due to the box was kept in a drawer.

I saw a lot of this yesterday at the Cleveland Power Piston Show at the IX Center. 2000 cars like this. Huge die cast display as well. Now I know why we have nothing in our stores. They also had a model car show and pinstripe competition among local artists.
Traveler was intended to be built for Stone Woods and Cook but they rejected it so the builder (Chuck Finders) painted it red and raced it against them in 1964 as the Traveler. Chuck was a local legend and nationally as well with all the Gasser's he built in his shop here in Cleveland. The International commercial panel is just so cool. Rat Fink showed up in his peddle car. The blue and white 56 Ford was my personal favorite and everyone else s as well. Took forever to get a clear shot of it. The Ultimate Gasser 'was just that. I bet they needed a truck to haul in that display ring around it. I shot up 150 photos walking around all of this. Spring is finally here. No more winter doldrums.
We are ground zero for the Eclipse tomorrow. I just saw the weather forecast. Rain.

 

Another good pick haul. Made a few bucks on this deal. lol. Never saw the Land Cruiser on a short card.
