It's in the middle of the palouse so yeah it's not really near a whole lot of Wheeling. It's near a whole lot of farms. But there's good hiking not far away at all and there's good Wheeling probably an hour or two away not a big deal. But yes it is the proverbial town in the middle of nowhere. Lewiston and Clarkston have good hiking outside of them. You'll be really close to Colfax which is near steptoe which has all sorts of hiking and then outside of Colfax there's a whole bunch of hiking. Then with a little bit more driving you'll be in Spokane and there's a ton of stuff up here. North Idaho's full of places to wheel as is Washington. But even in Moscow you're not that far from hells canyon. Lots of hiking and Wheeling there.

I am also starting to enjoy my routine out here. I just bike around everywhere and live in the moment.

I mean I'm sure you could do that here until it snows at least. Plenty of the college kids do

Find one with the Washington department of natural resources in the Spokane area and you can rent a room here. I've only got three unused ones :p Plus if you work in Washington there's no income tax.

People that claim they don't are much more suspicious.

    Day what..3?

Bacteria still ain't doing shit, wondering if it'll just take a lot longer since my water temp is at a fixed 78 degrees, but ammonia is still at 1ppm

    20240406_093729.jpg

Which would mean exactly 0ppm for nitrites, confirmed

    20240406_093742.jpg

pH levels are a 7.4 so I know it's where it's supposed to be

    20240404_162052.jpg

Just waiting on my test solution for checking water hardness
