Hey Matt great to meet you yesterday and check out your truck. I hope you don't mind but i pulled the trigger on some Sol Tek 8" lights last night. I didn't realize they were such a good price. I really like that quick adjustment set up and they had yellow lense covers for fog and snow that I ordered with them. Taking your advise to and got a new wiring harness capable of handling that much draw. Gonna save the fog light wiring for some LED rock lights in the near future.

Did anybody go wheeling today? Must be some good snow in the mountains now but my lawn is loving this moisture.

Anyone know the dimensions of the TRD CAI filter? I should have measured it Sat when I had it out. Getting a pre filter for Moab.

    Hey dudes quick question.

So my Taco isnt equipped with the a trac system just the locker in the rear. Am I still going to be able to keep up on the trails with you guys who are equipped with both? Dumb question and im probably going to get shit for this but in what situations is the locker needed? When Stuck in sand mud or snow? Going up an incline?

    Any info helps!

I have no traction and no locker yet. You can keep up better than me probably.

right on, you'll love the solteks! Just watch out when you put the yellow covers on, IMO the design is pretty crappy compared to the actual light unit. Don't put it on all the way cuz it'll never come off. Just stick the covers on enough so that they stick. You'll know what I mean as soon as you try to put them on :goingcrazy:

i saw some people using them under the hood for light...question would be is how to mount it under the truck to have the light go where it's useful...seems like you'd want your lights at an angle to shine down and out..and without a bracket you'd have to get crafty...

I have atrac and a locking diff. and its (atrac) pretty bad ass, unles you are sitting on your frame in georgia clay......only thing that helped that day was a bulldozer that picked my truck up and moved it to solid ground.
