Almost every Tacoma listed on the dealership I bought mine from says "in transit/production" followed by "sale pending".

 

If interest rates were lower and people felt stronger about the economy these would be selling. People are tapped out with inflation and aren't going to buy something that costs as much as a down payment on house. Those that can (tax write offs) aren't buying Tacoma's.

 

Lol Any time a new gen comes online there us a dip in sales. Getting a new vehicle off the assembly line is a big PITA for manufacturers. Tacoma will rebound once production is ramped.

 

Mexican built midsize pick up truck now costs as much a luxury German SUV at an APR that will make your eyes water.

Yea, a german car that starts falling apart in 1/2 or 1/3 the miles you get out of a Toyota. German cars have become fancy garbage IMO. If you're smart, you ditch a German car before 100,000 mi and let somebody else deal with all the problems that are about to occur.

I predict that in two years Toyota sales are going to be so desperate that they will pay you 100 dollars and a free puppy to give them away.

Toyota moved production to Mexico because they ostensibly wanted to keep the truck affordable for the American market, now they cost more than actual luxury cars being built in Mexico for the American market.

 

I'd rather have the $100 and the free puppy.
