My wife was on 87 this morning. She said it wasn’t plowed, and it was the worst conditions she’s ever seen on 87.

6 am Sun and enjoying the quiet and owls hooting outside the window.... until the flatlander mayhem starts. Looks clear at the moment, so probably be very busy out today. Driveway closed off and locked down for the duration too!

Omg yes! I know a friend's son left Island Pond and it took almost 2 hours to get to the RT 5/114 stop light by Bean's Homes!!! That's like 25 minutes tops. Sunday night it was as quiet as church mouse. Monday was like the Phish concert in Conventry. Newport was sending folks east to get them out of there. No room!

Hey guys, I got some parts from the Taco if any interest before I list them.
    1. At the Helm Bed Reinforcements never used still wrapped in shipping material.
    2. A full set of black on black wet okole seat covers for double cab including console cover. The front driver has wear but not all the way through only top layer on outer panel. Need washing. May hit them with hose once a nice day comes. All others look pretty new. These are for TRD OR 2013-15. Not sure of other fit.
    3. A brand new pair of 2GEN.5 oem front headlights with new bulbs.
    4. Oem chrome grill and center piece complete no broken tabs used.
    5. Black grill Center with toyota emblem taken out of a new color matched surround.
    6. New oem filter for 4.0l some miscellaneous leds from a member here for back up lights etc.
    7. Toyota bed bars. These are oem and mount with rail tie downs that slide into rails.
    20240411_080304.jpg
Hope its OK to do this way.

I'll take the Stoneyfield in the background.... (Heavily addicted to yogurt :anonymous:)

These bed bars, having trouble visualizing the exact pieces in my mind ("OEM" +brain freeze lol). Are they pretty much flat across the bed, or do they rise up any amount at the rails before traversing the bed? Alum I assume?

Yes I guess they were Cargo bars that used the cleats from the rail system. Early 2Gen accessory from Toyota. Here's some photos

Ooof, max load 50 pounds. A big bug at highway speed could do that in lol. Sorry, pass. Plus I'm thinking about maybe something angled up to give more clearance underneath. Kind of overland-ish without going full tard (and paying for a premade full piece). May experiment with welding something now that the weather is better for that outside.

Speaking of, typical VT - was variously a foot of snow on the ground last Thurs, probably sending Eclipsters into a panic at the time. Was 72 here yesterday. Froggies going wild in the swamps. "I'm officially putting my snow shovels away".... so there !!

Mornin'. You must be Adirondack-ish, or at least close enough. Nice country over that way. I like trees and hills (more than people heheh)

Ya I never used them thus why zip tied. The other photos were from member Squad here. I was going to use them inside my shell as a shelf so using the windoors on side my kayak gear would easily reachable. I wasn't sold on the whole attaching them to cleats thing. This was before every fabricator made bed bars. I had them from my 06.
Funny you say snow, my truck had a coating this a.m.

Oh it's already happening .... lololol
First thing I need are bars of some sort to get in!
I did see more tacomas getting delivered yesterday down at White River. A beautiful TRD Sport. Every tacoma on their lot had someone buying or looking. Crazy. They were moving so many new vehicles just blew my mind. I hadn't been in a dealership for a buying experience in 11 years.

Yeah, mine came with basic bars, and I use them each time now. But they got rid of the driver side A pillar handle. I'm missing that... thinking I will do a paracord weave handle to be a little different. And it's soft for when airbags explode lol.

I am over an hour away from the Adirondack mountains. I’m between the Catskills and the Berkshires . 4 miles from the border of south west Massachusetts and NW Connecticut.
