Hopefully the landing spot has carpet for some cushion rather than landing on the tile/concrete floor

Good morning friends! Hope all of you have an awesome, blessed Sunday :hattip:

This row of trees, part is on us, part is on our other neighbor. I trimmed a few of ours so we could see Pilot Mountain better from the kitchen. We’re going to plant some sort of lush green trees to hide his house. I cut a few down, cut some as high as I could with my pole saw.

He stopped by yesterday and we didn’t even mention anything about the trees. He said you can cut all of those trees so you can see better, just make them into a brush pile on the line for the rabbits. He loves to run his rabbit dogs. So nice of him.

My wife wanted to ask him about cutting some, I said I’m not asking someone if I can cut their trees for us to have a better view. Was very nice of him.

And I'm over here waiting for the neighbors trees to get bigger so I can actually get some shade in the afternoon and evening.

Ooof, we have some people that moved in and are renting the farm house beside me. There's a million vehicles that come and go and the past two nights they have been partying playing loud music. There's a decent sized field between us and the music was still shaking my house. They even had fireworks going Friday night, luckily I slept through that as I had to be up at 3:30am for work. Looking like a fence is going to be in my very near future. I hate to be a Karen, but if this crap continues I'll have to contact the owner and then if nothings resolved state police is going to get involved. Hate to be like that, but I'm pretty sure the owners were not expecting it to be a party house...

Most places have quiet hours even in country. I try not to be that person but if you have to work early and they are making noise, nothing wrong with calling in a noise complaint.

I just hate to be that guy. There's no telling what the people across the street from that house were experiencing. We have no local police here, just PA State Police. Might shoot the owner a quick text letting them in on the situation...

They're also not supposed to have any pets, but seem to have a dog...

You can see the distance from my house (red brick) to the shop. If I can hear your music, it's too loud!

Tell the owner then go from there. Let him have a chance to rectify it first. If it persists than get the police involved. Problem with stuff like that they tend to attract unwanted individuals who will be creeping around your place in the middle of the night before long. That sucks you gotta deal with that. I been there it ain’t fun

Haven't posted here in awhile....Been busy working on the new property. Got a driveway cut in and some gates up. Was fighting some soft ground where I want to put a shipping container but adding some lime has done the trick.

We’ve sold and moved twice due to this.

The first was from a tightly packed suburb outside of Boston. Newlywedswere given a house next to ours by one of their parents. Party’s every night of the week. Music and conversations just 15-20 feet from our bedroom. That, and the crazy car radio guy every weekend abutting the back of our property, and the traffic everywhere all contributed.

The second was a small cottage on the MA coast. Tightly packed but we had some distance from our neighbors. It was the beginning of the Air B and B or whatever it was called but people would rent in the community and party all the time. Loud, fireworks at 3:00 am.. The town was unresponsive…

Good luck dealing with it. I’d act sooner rather than later to try and nip it in the bud. Walls shaking from a neighbor’s house, renter or not, is outrageous..

People with no common sense are hard to put up with. Unfortunately we seems to have too many of them in the recent world.

Neighbors can be the worst. I live in town, so I have them.. as I write this my next door neighbor has finished cutting the muffler off his clapped out Durango, and is reving it up in his front yard, which is all dirt and sticker plants
