Did anyone feel the earthquake in Delaware?

Wife said she felt it here in Dover.

Our adult children have their own style of music. The eldest, shared this band's new album.

Here's just a sample that's getting me through my recovery.

    Gmorning Delaware + surrounding areas.

My wife will be doing the driving this weekend so I’ll just “remote start” my Sporty and let her turn off on her own today.

Will probably do the same tomorrow since neither of our vehicles will be going anywhere.

I did watch women’s bball last night…half asleep for the first game and I turned off the late game in the 3rd Qtr…saw the highlights on the late game.

Stomach is still sensitive but wife is taking care of me.

    Good evening Delaware.

    Welp, antibiotics are working!

Now, it’s getting my gut back to healthy digestive balance.

I’ve been taking a probiotic daily with my prescriptions since not everything is back to normal.

An enlarged colon is not something I’d wish on anyone…but it has passed for now.

The condition that caused the problem: ulcerative colitis.

Something triggered it and my wife seems to remember the meal I had on Sunday that may have caused the problem.

So, I’ll take a lesson learned as well as losing 6 pounds on this one.

Enjoy your Saturday…I’m watching bball tonight and may even stay awake for the late game.

I was rooting for Iowa last night but it looked like they were gonna lose.

    Gmorning Eric and Delaware-area neighbors.

I’m feeling better, thanks for asking.

Of course, I’m still on Plant Base Whole Food diet since things have not returned to normal.

I just took a probiotic and will have an oats/blueberry/Apple breakfast shortly.

My wife did narrow down the meal that started my stomach ache…and it involved an abundance of cheese with lil bit of chorizo I had on Sunday.

Here I was trying to blame it on Charleston SC food…lol.

    Have a great day everyone.

I need to clean, vacuum and wash my wife’s car today. 2k miles worth of southern bugs and road grime need to come off sooner than later before it cements on the white paint.

I’m probably going to need to clay bar some of it too. I don’t think the ceramic coating will have been enough

    Hope you’re still improving

Was able to get wife’s car cleaned and vacuumed yesterday. The ceramic coating worked and most the bugs guts came off really easily. Used my leaf blower to push 98% of the water off. Also conditioned the leather seats while I was at it!

    Gmorning Eric,

I have been able to sleep through the night...that happened once I was on antibiotics! lol

I will say, I've had some of the best sleep...making up for those sleepless nights last Tue/Wed.

My stomach is still sensitive and I'm eating foods that are good for my gut enzymes...I've also lost some weight.

    It's back to work today.

    Gmorning Delaware + neighboring states.

    It's Taco Tuesday!

    Can't quite have a taco today...but, mmmmm!

This sweet potato with bananas & cinnamon is a good start for the day.

I've got a legumes/sweet potato/+various other whole food ingredients soup for lunch today.

I am being a little bit of a "wise guy" like one of the three stooges...lol.

But, my stomach is doing better and I'm going to go without antibiotics beginning today.

Good morning Delaware + neighboring friendly states. :)

Welp, I got a call from DE Public Health yesterday and since my blood work was evaluated confirmed for traces of salmonella, they got involved.

So, I was on the phone with the Rep for 30 minutes providing lots of info regrading what I've had to eat the past two weeks...

Also, what sort of symptoms I had and what the doctor gave me as far as antibiotics.

Since my condition has improved, I stopped taking antibiotics and started eating (albeit slowly) a little more freely.

It's avocado toast with slices of tomatoes and a sprinkle of bagel seasoning with my coffee this morning! Woot-Woot!!!

    Have a great day everyone.

    Thank you!

I'm starting to eat as before...going slowly and my stomach is handling things, no problems.

It's actually better...because it's food poisoning as opposed to a chronic condition: ulcerative colitis

I had a CT-Scan done last week and the omni-paque solution went straight to the source: my butt.

This is how it was determined I had inflammation in the colon...and then the doctor prescribed the antibiotics.

I definitely do not wish this on anyone--this may have been from cross-contamination of touching poultry and then handling the food I ate.
