I'm surprised the dealer didn't stop the sale/ catch the discrepancy (or they knew and said fuck em, we'll get money either way) either way, most dedicated tire shops would be better than the stealership

 

^Re-reading @ShootDux 's post, he ordered the tires elsewhere and actually brought them to the dealer to get mounted. Glutton for punishment.

And then they did it and I needed them to literally drive over all the guys girls that surrounded me in that instant.

I have ECP oil changes included in my extended warranty and I also needed an oil change. They asked to do my alignment and after the whole deal I really didn’t trust that they would actually do anything more than the front toe. I’ll find a small shop that can do custom alignments.

I take it back. Its rubs pretty bad on the front mus flaps. Under braking while turning or reverse while turning.
Hopefilly i can just push it in with a heat gun.

 

I had 285/70R17 that only rubbed on the mudguards. I ended up selling them because it drove the wife nuts and went with 265/75R16 on my TRD rims. NO rubbing whatsoever with these...
If you want, I'll trade ya!

 

Tempting offer, and while I’m sure your wife is lovely, I think Id rather keep mine. She isn’t too bothered by the rubbing noise. Even though she drive me nuts sometimes I’ve grown to enjoy her company.

being that this is the only thing she’s ever complained about, that’s why I was ok with the change.

The fender flare is right behind the OEM flap. You'll probably have to cut away the lower wrap-around portion of the flare. Then if you want mudflaps to save your paint, get RokBlokz: https://www.tacomaworld.com/posts/24782985
