I recently picked up a 2019 TRD sport and have a Rival 4x4 skid plate that should work for this Tacoma, however, the diff mounts are extra tall so the 45mm spacer does not even come close to holding the skid plate. Any one also have these tall mounts and if so what spacer hardware did you use for your skid plate? PXL_20240407_133356545.jpg

That's a diff drop kit, I would just remove it. it's not necessary unless you're lifted so much your cv boots are rubbing and even then it probably means you have too much lift

you may need to source new hardware.
I assume you didn’t get the bolts from the previous owner?

I was actually just beginning to search for that. I'm checking today to see if I can identify how much it is lifted, it's not much if it is. Seem like the general consensus when I research this is that diff drops are pretty much useless unless as RandyLahey stated the truck is lifted to much anyway. I assume it was just an upcharge deal at a dealership or something.

Great video! that seals it for me I will for sure remove it. Going to do a search on the original hardware and then pop those off.
