GONE: Wheels & Tires

Hey TW,

I am trying to bring my truck back to stock as close as I can for trade in. Looking to trade my 4 wheels and tires plus spare for yours!

A couple requirements:

• You must have oem TRD off road wheels, with no scratches or curb rash
• Your tires must be all season or all terrain, in good condition with no patches or plugs or irregular wear
• Your TPMS sensors must be working as they should
• Your wheels must be well balanced
• You must have a stock spare wheel/tire to trade as well, in good condition with no patches or plugs or irregular wear

Here is what I have to offer:

• 4 oem TRD off road wheels in perfect condition, no scratches or curb rash
  • 4 Falken Wildpeak MT in 255/85/R16 (skinny 33s)
    • No plugs or patches
    • No irregular wear
    • Between 10/32 - 11/32 tread depth (19/32 is new, so over 50% left)
  • TPMS sensors work as they should
  • Wheels are well balanced
• 1 oem steel spare wheel
  • 1 Falken Wildpeak MT in 255/85/R16 (skinny 33)
    • No plugs or pataches
    • No irregular wear
    • Never been used - still has nubbies on it
    • Full 19/32 tread depth

I am hoping to find someone in the West Chicago suburbs area (or willing to travel here) that we can meet and swap wheels. I am not looking to put any cash into the deal as I am just trading in the truck this month. It would be a even trade or depending on what tires you have and their condition, it might be fair for me to ask for some cash.

I have 265/75/16 General Grabber ATx tires with approx 10/32" depth left (original spare). I've been waiting for the Wildpeak AT4w to become available again. Not sure I want M/T's but winter is done (?) and I could get into skinnies while waiting.

My other problem is I'm going on a road trip in 2 weeks...not a lot of time to adjust if I have rubbing issues.

Where are you at? I need to do some thinking...

 

Totally understandable, but I don’t think you’ll have rubbing issues. I actually had these installed before a 2 week off road trip to UT. I did not have a lift at that point lol

@ksimms92, where are you located? I'm just south of Green Bay. I'd have to do this on Sun or maybe Mon if I do it and I'm looking at the better part of a tank of gas (probably) down and back.

I've gotta say, this is tempting.

Tomorrow is out, breaking on new motorcycle tires.

 

@OldSchlPunk I am in Naperville, but I would totally load up a floor jack and meet you to split the drive.

Ironically I am tied up tomorrow as well but free Sunday.
