two weeks ago the wife calls me…”hey my car is making a weird noise and my tire light is on”

Me: “Did you hit a curb?”

“no I hit a pot hole or something and now my car makes a loud ticking noise”

I could hear the ticking in the background as she’s talking to me

Me: “Ok go park it, I’m on my way”

Walk around car, hear the hissing tire…pull tire off and bounce it a few times and hear a loud clank as I do…..

Drop it off at the shop…hour later the guy calls me. “Dude idk what this thing is, my mechanic thinks it’s a piston rod”

This thing was slapping the inside of the rim:

 

That’s the one, the guy at the shop asked

“does she work at a mechanics shop?”

Me: “No she just drives all over for work”

“well someone had a worse day than her catching a flat”

 

UPS truck kicked this one up and cost me two new tires. 8" lag bolt

 

Naturally it’s near the side wall where it can’t be repaired.

 

That'll plug just fine. Tire shop won't do it because they'll say you need seven new tires instead

 

It chewed up the inner sidewall. No fixing that one

The tires were the ones I bought in 2016 when I had my TRD sport. Tread was a bit too low to just cycle in one new tire, so I replaced both the rears so they'd rotate more better. Then I forgot I put like 5k miles a year on the taco so it wasn't really an issue anyways

 

Holy shit, I finally found someone who actually uses H&R block for their taxes lol. Really surprised it was you of all people. I figured you'd have a CPA you paid $200 once a year like everybody else who has more than $5,000 net worth

 

Still have the bolt. Hand for, uh, scale

 

OH come on...I wait for NewEgg to have their yearly sale... $21 this year.
So....I always come close...BUUUT...We have no major problems with it...It imports the stock transactions from my different accounts....The only issue is you have to "review" every transaction..

SO far so good...Started using it in 200x and it imports last years info...
MAN Did I almost go to an accountant the $GME blip because I couldn't believe my tax bill...I was aspzdah pay an estimate so dumb me owed a penalty...LOL...Cry me a river.
