I think that’s part of the problem. Everything that enters the showroom is already sold. Gotta wonder who’s got money like that. If they can move ‘em at that price who can blame them for pushin’ the limit. Still bag sucks tho.

That’s insanity. Was it loaded with add ons or just a nice market adjustment?

Honestly a couple thousand for market adjustment and dealer add ons (4k or so), but base price is just out of control on new models from Toyota.
Edit: without add ons and dealer items still looking at 51k

4Runner market seems to have way better pricing than the Tacoma’s. Especially a few years used. I’d like to grab a 4Runner so I can baby my Tacoma and not run up the mileage. :burnrubber:

First burn in the fire pit. The double wall was the right choice. The outside bricks were ambient temperature. Even after coercing with gas. I think I want to find some high temp adhesive to better secure the inner bricks. And find good topper bricks that aren't too expensive.

EDIT: I have many regular bricks just sitting around. It's amazing the crap you find around a 70 year old house. I may just use those and regular mortar.

Ok now I'm thinking I really don't want to use regular brick. I'll look into fire brick if pavers may explode.
Or just spread a layer of mortar on top and call it a day.

Seen a couple in the wild. I was able to see the Tacoma off road last October, it looked awesome. Nice clearance and the wheels looked great for OEM.

Got a call that my son was going into surgery for liver transplant yesterday. I left work and headed to Cincinnati. Got in this morning before they woke him up. New liver installed. Thank you for everyone who prayed for him. Still a long way to go, but a big jump towards him getting healthy and eventually back home! Taco keeps treating me well, I fed her 91 octane this trip to help clean her out. Averaged 22.7 mpg for the 550+ mile trip. Not bad with the camper shell on the back and running the AC.

Congrats on your son getting a new organ.

These post always make me check my driver's license to make sure I'm still listed as a donor.

It’s one of the most amazing gifts a child can get… but at the same time you know another family has lost someone they love. We will be forever grateful for this liver as it gives him a chance at living. After a period of time I believe they will give us the information on where it came from so we can thank the family after they recover from the loss of their loved one. With the old liver and spleen removed I pray that the cancer is gone. Hopefully he will get to go home in 3-4 months after recovery and 3 more rounds of chemo. Luckily he’s young and fighting hard.
