‘So you have had both tunes and find the Max to be better? It’s good to hear this from someone that had the OTT as I was on the fence , but in all honesty, really didn’t have a choice in my tri state area as the OTT programmer never answered emails, over the course of one year. Therefore I went with the KD max 10.0 as well, and opted for a few toggles switched for the turn signals and seat belt alarms that I love.. rather than 3 blinkies, I opted for 5, and “Off” for the belt alarm. I went lite tip in and mild . Gas mileage is within 1 MPG from OEM tune. Up shifts seem to take place at 10mph intervals, 2nd @ 10mph, 3rd@ 30 and so on. I have noticed when the transmission is cold though, it seems a bit sluggish to upshift, and wants to tach up a bit more than normal before up shifting.

Yeah I've had both and so far I am liking OTT better but my KDMax was a few years old so can't really speak to how it is now. Your upshift pattern you are describing seems about right to what I am experiencing on OTT. Only had it for 48 hours so still getting a read on MPG.

Once you hit zero you usually have 1-3 gallons of fuel left.
The farthest I've gone on zero is just under 30 miles.

"Miles left" definitely has a bit of a "nanny" aspect to it. But I would want a few gallons ready in the bed if I was going to test that limit "for grins".

Thats the main reason i got the kdmaxx tune since yota master was never reliable to get a tune from. I heard he is getting better now though at responding.

Guess I know what I'm doing to mine soon.....fixing a leaky PS reservoir. Not sure where it's leaking but there is a small puddle underneath the res and that fender area is definitely covered in an oil film.

That return hose is finicky. If it's not on there just right it'll leak. Could be the reservoir itself too.

Good to know, thanks. I looked real close but for the life of me could not figure out where it's actually coming from. Hopefully not the hose, but it seems like the reservoir is so coated itself that it probably came out of a seam in the plastic or something. There are not a whole lot of cases of this that I could find here, maybe 4-5.

AVS in channel on 3 vehicles and never a problem.
Tried weathertech in channel on wife's and it sometimes stops window from closing properly.
Will only use AVS in channel from now on.
Never been totally happy with weathertech products.

Finally finished the speaker upgrade project I had not completed (1 of many half done projects). Installed the rears with baffles, pulled the front to add baffles and opted for foam tape wrapped around the connector vs 3m tape (that came off 1). Foam tape on the back of the speaker adapter to eliminate possible vibrations

Trail Edition Grille and Taco Garage garnish. I didn't get the metal washers on the garnish (it was approaching manhandling getting them to attach) but it doesn't feel like it'll randomly "fall out". Worst case, I take the grille off now that I know how easy it is and just slam them on.

This weekend installed 5100s, front on 4th clip and added a 1" block in the rear. Also installed the ECGS clamshell bushing. This morning had 255/75r17 KO2s installed at Discount Tire.

It was time to install my Total Chaos bed stiffeners. Little spray of black rust preventing Krylon in each hole. Good piece of kit. I need a better drill if I plan to drill into any more sheet metal any time soon.

Didn't even realize the eclipse was happening halfway through...

I ordered a compressor from Thor’s Lightning. It is likely the same one that NAPA (and others) sells but Thor is a local business and that means quite a bit. With the GovX discount it was about $40 more than the other.
