Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Much to overcast to really see anything. If it got darker I missed seeing any changes.

We had clear skies for the eclipse, and 99.something% coverage. I had to use a flashlight for a while to help trigger the auto darkening welding shade, when it got to the peak, even that wouldn't work. Cool to see. It got weirdly dusky here, but not as dark as I thought it would.

I found it interesting that the brainiacs on the interwebs failed to mention that even with over 99% of the sun covered, it's still impossible to look at. Good thing they kept the kids home from school to keep them safe. o_O

Part that got me when I saw my only total was the quiet. Every living thing just went silent. That combined with the Erie light was something I’ll never forget.

Got the deck square and started poking more holes, got three down to 36”, now to make them big enough for a 6” x 6”.

Yes, that is aluminum handles attached to the fiberglass, my dad ran over them with his tractor not long after I bought them

Last deck I built was 20x20. I attached one side to the house and dug eighteen holes for piers. I only went down two feet as eighteen inches was the code frost line. Deck did not flex even a millimeter. When you build like that, math is not needed.
Funny thing...here in SC there is no frost line! You get rid of the grass and pour concrete right on the red clay.

We are all here for each other. I like to think of it as a big ol support group. You got a problem, issue, or just need a virtual hug, we are here. You got a question, somebody here has the correct answer. We are all good at something, which is really cool. Seldom in real life can you get people with such varied backgrounds in the same room at the same time. And getting them to get along like we do? Cmon man, that seldom happens.

A distant second to the post hole digger by the way. A hoe is a close 3rd.

Have been tortured by both many times and probably many more. That block wall I mentioned b/4 had to have the ground and road bond tamped down level. Let's not forget the barbwire fencing too.
