So I’ve gotten all the parts for the lift, all of them are in great condition. The front and rear Bilstein 5100 as well as the OME 887 coil, but I’ve been reading thread after thread about sagging with OME due to the spring rate being less than that of the stock Tacoma, so now I’m thinking about ditching the OME 887s and just using the stock coils for the 2 inch lift. Just wondering on what you guys think, am I being a bit irrational or should I just use the stock springs. It should also be known I have no extra weight up front, it’s a stock 2023 TRD Off road with an S&B CAI along with a few minor mods like a new shift knob and LED interior lighting.

Way over thinking it, I have the 5100’s all the way around and using stock springs up front.

Save the OME coil money and try stock coils up at 2" first if your primary goal right now is lift.
I am an example of unfortunately throwing out my 7 year old stock coils (reportedly 700#) before experimenting first with a lower spring rate coil (Dobinsons 586#) and the effect of weight add.
I just bought another higher spring rate coil set (620#) as I was maxing my Bilsteins just for weight add.

I have 886, some weight up front, there is sag, but it’s waaaaaaay better than the stock coils.

I had the OME coils. Compared to the stock coils, which have a much higher spring rate (590 vs 700+lbs), I found them "bouncy" I switch to the Eibach coils with a similar spring rate to stock, and no more bounce.

I had 5100's in the 4th notch with stock coils. It was fine until I started adding more armor, bumper and winch. Switched to 886 coils and nitrocharger shocks. If your not looking to add weight or offf road much, it will be fine on OEM coils.

Take baseline wheel hub center to fender measurements before doing anything so you know where you started.

My 2887 coils did not sag over the years. After I installed front bumper, winch and sliders, the front went down .25” which was expected. I’m at 1.75” lift after 3 or so years. You will be fine.

FWIW nitro charger shocks are stock length, which sucks for downtravel once IFS gets lifted.

Junk, I thought on the Eibach spacer extension thread, that you were going to try the same and get that down inch back?
