I have a 2004 Xtra cab with 320k 4x4 with an e locker on it, trans was rebuilt 20k miles ago, engine was pressure tested no leaks, just replaced the center carrier bearing and a nice amp with all 4 speakers, they are offering 8500? Thoughts anyone

 

3.4 engine, I assume?
The 3.4 can go 400k+ is maintained regularly.

But, you're knocking on 2nd Gen prices at $8.5K.

I guess it all depends on if/why you want to sell it?
If you don't need a new truck, don't sell it.
If you need a new(er) truck, Sell it. $8.5K is a fair offer.

 

3.4, I have 2nd gen but I feel like nothing beats the 1st gen

 

The 4.0 and the LBJ redesign.
Other than that, nothing beats a 1st Gen.

Still miss mine.

 

I suggest going "mock shopping" and look around at what others in the same condition are going for. 1st gen's with a good frame and no overdue problems are going for a bit more than that.
