4th Gen Tacoma (2024+)

The shape looks weird...especially on this view...and the rear seats look kinda tight. Kinda looks like your driving a hood not the car..lol

 

Interesting - there’s no more “tears” under the headlights.

 

And this one looks like a Sequoia in all its porky glory...lol

 

Roof Rack needs to be all the way to the front. Just over the rear seats and cargo area make it look very heavy back there IMO.

Love the colors though.

Weird familial crease behind rear wheels refuses to die. Door dent going strong too. It's a lot to take in.

 

Yeah...at first glance it makes me want to go out and buy....a 5th gen...lol. If I'm going on looks alone...the Land Cruiser gets the nod....I want to see how functional they made the interior, or if they screwed it up like the others.

 

6th runner colors get a resounding hells yea! Body lines are debatable. Still happy with my 5th gen for now.

 

The early pic of the rear window showed that the interior is probably exactly the same as the Tacoma. Probably how they will keep costs down to make it more affordable than the LC.
I notice that there are a lot of 2024 4R Pros for sale. Almost all at msrp, some with a markup but some below msrp. Is Toyota making more Pros or are they not selling?

 

Not surprising but almost stunning how close this thing hews to the Tacoma. Interior will likely be very similar. I guess its in the name of efficiency. Overall, I think its fine; would probably opt for the Tacoma or LC.

4 runner BRO buyers are not like Tacoma BRO buyers...the package has been around but from what I have seen it doesn't generate as much of the fanboi exciitement and instagram cred as the Tacoma.

And the price is too high on the high trim 4 runners and it really makes no sense to buy a new one with so many low mileage used ones on the market unless of course you don't like money.

 

Basically a Tacoma with a top in the back !

So departure approach is worse, wheelbase is longer (worse) towing is up. I do like the tan interior option.

 

All new Tacoma, LC, and 4R. Will the Tundra get upgrades in 2025? I am sure they will offer a TH version and the Pro will get iso seats. The removable speaker and a second auto tailgate button will certainly be added but I wonder if there will be any significant changes.

Toyota may not sell a lot of Tundras compared to Ford/Chevy/RAM but they're doing better than (their) average so far this year.

 

The only thing they need to do to the Tundra in 2025 is put a reliable powertrain in it...they should concentrate on that one before the ISO seat thingamabobs

Ram and Ford down double digits is interesting, but not surprising.

 

Bro....that new 4runner looks like a bloated mess. Holy fuck Toyota fucked up. This is effectively going to kill the 4Runner.

 

They’ll sell like hotcakes.

The only thing that might negatively impact sales a fraction of a percent will be if they didn’t carry over the rear window rolling down.
