As part of the reassembly process it still needs to be checked but as far as it being off the vehicle, not necessary.

Don't fall for the "While you're in there" trap. Its just going to jack up the price and stop you from fixing anything.
You'll sit there frozen because to 'do it right' costs $1500 more than just going in and fixing what you know is broke.
I did the same thing with my LBJs because I also need LCA bushings and tie rods. And then well I'm already torn into it this far why not do new UCAs and UBJs too. All the sudden you've made it cost a thousand or two, and that's too much so you don't do any of it.
I sat for like a year not fixing anything because I didn't want to drop the cash.
Finally I just went in and fixed the most important part for a few hundred, the rest is still on the to-do list, but its not all that urgent.

Just get in there and fix what's broke.

It might come back to bite you, but worst case you just have to pay the labor again. Chances are it'll be years down the road anyway. Maybe by then you'll have a garage too.

Eh, not bad, similar to the 4th gen as we'd expect. Makes sense

Yeah they sure seem to have, articles gone but the image is out there. Thought it might be a render, but the design language is spot on of that is the case. I suspect this is what we will see officially later today.

I think it looks good, but Toyota loves those fender flares that big the shit out of me as they don't extend to the bottom of the body. They use them across the lineup so it's not exclusive to the 4runner.

I didn't know it was going to be similar to 4th gen, but I definitely see it.
Unfortunate imo, 4th gen 4r/2nd gen taco has always been my least favorite. They made it look pretty good though.

I like it better than the 4g taco. Toyota hasn’t made a good looking pickup since 1997

this is a good wisdom. went into my front end to do a bent tie rod and ended up spending a lot more time and money than I anticipated to fix "everything"... and I overlooked the play in the rack because fuck that
