Possibly Tim changed his kit since Travis bought that stuff. DMZ has been around for many years and I know Travis had been stocking up parts long before he even had the truck that eventually got the DD links.
    Don't look right though.

Anyone have a link to this?
I don’t have any social media.
A few buddies used to work for Izzy though.

See if you could make the longer shackles work with the hangers - I’m sure Tim will tell you if they’re compatible and why he changed them.

    @SoonToBeOn35s

I found out - from Tim’s main fabricator (before Tim downsized his operation, and I meant to say ‘design’)

But on second thought, why is there a difference between standard and short bed kits? Don't they share the same chassis? (ACLB vs DCSB)

Pretty sure Tim will tell you, but might have something to do with driveshaft or frame differences. Not super familiar with 2nd Gen kits as I only built the front end of mine and then sold the kit once I realized I wanted a 4x4 and a bigger cab and bought my 1st Gen. The link I posted of the short shackle kit was was exactly what I wanted to do with shocks not sticking through the bed.

Drive line strap has been on my mind too. That might be part of my next prep day.

smashed this, broke that, covered it up with tape and paint
Yeah the level of luck Izzy had that day was wild
Most people end up on their roof after that

main reason I mentioned it in here
I don’t want anyone here effed

    also
Y’all with way too much $$$ in the truck
Really really need to install your own tracker

watching the trucks on IG disappear annoys me beyond belief because an Amazon tracker is a 5g tracker with a 30 day battery and is only 20 a month to monitor from your phone…

Tim called me back this morning. He said that those are the short bed shackles that he hasn't made in forever.

Also he said there's about a 2 - 2.5" wheel travel difference between the two shackles
He's going to make me the correct length shackles for $200 and send them out to me later this week.

Does anyone run a driveline strap on here? I’ve seen them made of limit straps or metal cage. Not sure if it makes a difference

I like the land air sea 54 tracker and service

I have an airtag buried in the interior :/ not even close to the best option, but it was a gift and is free to use for me. I can set alerts if it moves.

I've always seen and run limit straps on off road trucks because they will move as we run over rocks, brush, burms, etc. Plus I have a bunch of straps left over from buggy builds.

I built a metal cage for my race car, but the slip yoke is in the trans, with the slip shaft on the diff like it is in a 1g taco the [rear] driveshaft can't fail the same way as it did for izzfab
