Could be the governor came apart on the inside, happened to me last year. Only one way to find out :D

Can you check to make sure the governor shaft is tight on the stem on the outside first? May have to pull the carb to get to it.

$440 would be nice! Noticed a guy here has a new one in the box listed for $400 :annoyed: Listed mine last night for $450 new in the box. I might put it together and try to sell it that way if I don’t have any luck.

Lucky! I decided I don't want to fool with a garden and put the tiller out by the road for $350. Plenty of people wanted to give me $100, yea no. I refuse to use Marketplace. But looking on Marketplace there's tons of tillers around here that are in the $200 range. Looks like I'm stuck with the darn thing. Meh, might dig up one row for some tomatoes and such

I guess this is what happens when enthusiastic me meets the eff it me

Oh well, was only a little over $200... Definitely not the worst couple hundred bucks I've spent.

Great tiller for $200. Still a good deal for $350. I have already used my other one enough to pay for itself.

I put mine together, in part because I wasn't 100% sure which machine I wanted to keep. I was also able to test start it and make sure it ran properly. So I do think it's easier to sell that way.

The guy who bought it saw my ad on Craigslist. I did have three people message me about it on FB, but none got beyond the is this available or what's the lowest you'll take stage before I marked it sold. The marketplace is the only part of FB I use, I created a dummy account using an old nickname from my younger years just so I could access the marketplace.

We're just getting into the prime season for tilling gardens, there are folks looking in the big box stores now. So it is a good time to post it up for sale.

I now have a fire extinguisher on my tractor. It's just a little one for now, but better than nothing.

Nice, I like where you put it where it won't get ripped off.......like mine did with the plastic bracket :anonymous:

My rollbar has sand in it, started coming out when I drilled the holes.

This i show I do it as well. I created a fake FB profile to manage my companies FB page, then use a fake profile from the fake employee profile and a fake google number to buy and sell stuff on FB. No one I deal with knows who I really am. It sounds confusing, but it makes buying and selling stuff from people way less stressful.

I have no profile on FB as I hate FB, but my company unfortunately has to have a page, so here we are.

Perhaps someone in the past fill the ROPs bar with sand in an attempt to add weight to the tractor.:notsure:

Came from the factory like that, it's one piece and welded on both ends. Not sure if they did it for vibration or strength in the event of a rollover to keep it from collapsing.

I could see it maybe helping with vibration, but I don't think it would add any strength. Coming from the factory, I'd still think counter-weight for the loader as a more probable reason.

    KR,

Did your seat tear early in its life too? Seems to be a Kioti thing......

I tore the seat last fall.:pout: I often have a knife in the lower leg pocket of my overalls. When getting on the tractor I inadvertently dragged the end of the clip pocket clip across the seat, putting a slight tear in the vinyl. To keep it from getting worse I put some tape and the seat cover on it. So completely my fault , not kioti's. Considering my weight the seats in pretty good condition...:anonymous:

@sdk1968 how long did it take for the finance Co to send you the title for your tractor once you paid it off?
