KDMax-Pro Tuning--NOW YotaWerx Tuning

We all know there is no tune out there on v1.0 we'd ever want to run right now. That's what's great about ever improving changes. While KDMAX Pro v10 has been the best running tune to date on my truck I am planning to upgrade to YotaWerx BH2.0 next. Everything gets better when you put the time and testing into it!

Do you know if they’re offering any deal to former KD clients? Also would like to hear your review of BH 2.0 vs v10. Don’t know about you, but my v10 has some minor tweaks which I might notice missing if I swapped to BH.

 

This thread is going to go to shit real quick. Folks are going to get all sorts of defensive about whatever tune they have committed to. Oh well. It was a good run and all good thing must come to an end.

 

I will be happy to share my own experiences with KDMAX Pro v10 to YotaWerx BH2.0 once I get it in hand and some miles in the seat. BH2.0 is the next release and it is my understanding there will be an upgrade path for prior KDMAX Pro customers. I DO NOT have details but they are being discussed and will likely be posted here. Certainly anyone can reach out to their tuning resource also to get the fine print once it's established. I am really looking forward to it, some great things brewing!

Hi Gang. OK, just so I am clear... is KD MAXX 10.0 still available to upgrade into or not? (I have been running 7.0 for 2+ years now and was thinking recently about upgrading to 10.0) Thx

Mike is a long time KDMax customer. He brought me his nicely built Tacoma for a simple upgrade, as he was running an older version of the KDMax offering. Got him setup properly with KDMax Pro v10.0 Sport! It was pleasure meeting you, sir!

With the acquisition of the , ADK Tuners, LLC is now a proud Group network partner, but we remain commited to supporting ALL of customers, regardless of which tune they choose to run on their truck. As a self tune customer, I did PM mZiggy and YotaWerx Tuning looking for upgrade path to BH 2.0.

 

I apologize. Upgrade path for self tune still has not been finalized.

 

I hear this and all of the vagueness around that happens with what KDMax had been doing. I'm not terribly familiar with what YotaWerx had/has going on, but the little I've read didn't overly impress me. I guess if I need to upgrade or whatever, I'll be going OTT, as they have a tuner 45 min. from me vs 3 or 6 hours. Shame, I had been very happy with previous interactions with KDMax aside from the distance.

Rich, it is worth mentioning that YotaWerx has committed to continuing support for all past KDMax customers, even if those customers elect not to move to a YW tune offering. Your KDMax tuner will continue to provide support for your KDMax tune, should you require adjustments or reinstallation for any reason. Yes, future development will occur under the YotaWerx brand, but we will not abandon our KDMax customers along the way. All of us are committed to providing exceptional customer service and that will not change as a result of the YW acquisition of KDMax. In fact, Kreg (@PapaRee) and Dave (@TWTaco) made sure this would be the case before agreeing the acquisition. Christian (@SoCalTacomas YotaWerx) and Marc (@mZiggy), the founders and owners of YW, have the same principles of exceptional customer service and professional conduct as Dave and Kreg, as do our individual tuners. This will not change! Please give us the opportunity to wrap up the logistical complexities of this process. I think we will have a lot offer for all our customers when all this is said and done, sir!

 

We've always had remote tuning options as KDMAX and YotaWerx offers the same. I've helped provide those for years now so if you ever need help right in your own driveway please let me help. I hate to see someone unaware that help is literally in your own backyard because they didn't know the great services possible for those that need it.
