another day driving the work truck to site, not being able to drive my tacoma

 

Any one have experience with commercial pest control treatments working to keep wasps and such from getting in houses? Like terminex or other companies.

Every year we end up getting a few wasps or other flying bugs in the house. Was wondering if I went with a pest control company for quarterly treatments would help.

Ive not found any entry points or hives for them, so they might squeeze in through windows or storm/sliding doors.

 

It’s incredible - cannot figure that out. First two years - no cv issues. Next 18 months - this’ll be my third. I suppose I’m going to have to replace it at home - will need to rent, borrow or buy air tools.

house is going well - every day I see a new project; but having the space and the options is wonderful

 

I have jack stands and maybe the right sized socket for the wheel hub nut if you need and I could easily meet you on your way home from work one day… I can’t remember what size it is though, if it’s a 32mm, I have one of those.

 

I have had Orkin and Terminix for our house over the years. Currently we use orkin. We have wasps on the exterior that they do a good job of eradicating.

I've never had issues with them inside the home but when we first bought our house there was a mouse problem and they did a fantastic job finding and sealing all the entry points. So I would guess they would be pretty useful for wasps inside the house also.

It was a loong time ago so I don’t remember, sorry. I think most of those pest control companies make you do a yearly contract though. I remember thinking it was like pulling teeth finding someone that would just come out and do one job without a contract. A smaller mom and pop pest company might be a better bet if you just want them to come out one time.

I'm in a cabin back in the sticks so bugs were a issue. Once I started having quarterly bug treatments the only bugs we would see were dead. Now after a couple years of treatments we rarely see any bugs at all. Carpenter bees were the worst, boring holes in the exterior of my cabin. I'm glad they're gone. Those treatments are money well spent.
