Just had a thought, does your left turn indicator in the cluster blink when the left turn or hazzards are on?

Have you owned this truck since it was new?
Has it ever worked while you've owned the truck?

If you have an electrical probe that uses a halogen (nor LED) bulb, you could jump to ground and verify flashing bypassing the vehicle lamp(s). If it hyperflashes while doing this then you 'll know it's a bad ground on the vehicle lamp(s).
Best probe location would be at connector C10, behind the Combination Meter, at connector output, no connector attached.

Hmm that kinda suggests maybe something on the circuit is shorted to ground and the module is shutting the circuit off to protect itself.

Would need to scan it for codes to see though.

A generic OBD reader is only gona read emissions related codes from the PCM, it's not gona read codes from the Combination Meter.

If you have the reader, see if you can get to combination meter control unit and see pids for turn signals. This way you can eliminate the switch malfunction and concentrate on the wiring from the meter to lights. Control unit will change status of the pid from off to on, etc. to reflect the position of the turn signal switch.

Remove the lamps with holders from left side light assemblies (front & back). Use them for test. Using lamps provides correct load to circuit and isolates from vehicle harness.

Just had another thought, have you checked your trailer plug/wiring for any shorts or green crusties?

It started intermittently about a month after getting it and now it just blips then stays off. I’m the third owner and the previous owner never had this issue
