Did you come up with that idea solely on your own, or did you have to lace someone else in?

I would cry if I scratched those. My first rock chip, in my old Advans, gave me a seizure.

It was actually surprisingly easy. Fired the truck up and saw the CEL, which was surprising. Truck idled fine, and drove fine, except under harder acceleration, it would 'buck' every few seconds.

I opened the hood and the mouse had left behind a massive nest, which went all the way from deep in the V all the way up to the top of that black engine cover we have.

I pulled out handful after handful of fluff.

We also carry an XTool D8 (a fancy dealership level ECU/OBD2 reader/scanner) and the code pulled up the Bank 1 Knock Sensor failure. My wife had previous 'mouse eating wires' problem several years earlier when she was in school.

But yeah, you have to pull the MAF, Plastic Air Surge Tank, the secondary injection system, the aluminum intake manifold, and the primary fuel rails just to get to a $35 dollar wiring harness. It took ~6 hours to swap the harness.

What Dobinsons set up did you go with? 314 coils? I've been looking into going with the IMS kit. Definitely post some pics when you get it back together.

Finally had warmer weather and between the spring rain to install my pnp harness from @daveeasa so the back lights would work on my DD SS3 pro fog lights with my factory L.E.D. headlights and DRLs.. Thanks again @daveeasa . Pics coming soon.

Yeah, nbd overall. Fix and move on. I’ll be done with it tomorrow and at least a fluid change is coming from the swap.

Finally, bought battery analizer, it feels much better not to be a guessing "it's good or dies soon". Here is my 5 years old OEM battery.
will monitor at least once a month. Peace of mind. :D:thumbsup::canada:
