For me, the logical answer when deciding between Tacoma TRD Pro or a 4Runner TRD Pro is….yes please.

It’s looking like by this fall we’ll all be spoiled for choice.

Not to be the "So who's playing?" guy, but what exactly will we gain when the embargo is lifted in two weeks?

    Tacoma iForce MAX reviews?

    Thanks.

How could it be less than a Tacoma Pro?

So the 2025 gen 6 4 runner TRD Pro will be less than 55k....when the 2024 5th Gen 4 runner TRD Pro base price is $55,170..... Sounds reasonable....

I mean I guess it could be possible since they have the Trailhunter and the new Platinum trim above it...They are gonna run outta room...The only solution I see is to price the TRD Pro and Trailhunter basically the same and let people pick their style...

I would not be surprised at all if the Tacoma Pro and Trail Hunter have the same MSRP.

Completely undermines the 4th gen Taco price jump argument. So, not gonna happen.

I wonder if it's reasonable to assume that the first 2025 4Runners off the production line will be more debugged than the first 2024 Tacomas off the production line considering that they are essentially the same vehicle, at least where it counts.

By next fall, a lot of the beta testing will be over.

They are coming off of a different production line, that historically has produced some of the best vehicles Toyota or Lexus have ever put their logo on, so unless something is inherently off with the design, I would say more debugged would be accurate.

The 4 runner has a new top trim for 25, so that may shake up the order on the Trail Hunter/Pro, but you are probably correct that they will set the Pro above the Trail Hunter.

That's alright. Not much demand for a manual transmission in a family SUV. Manual transmissions are still available on the new Tacoma's.

I don't think auto manufactures make those anymore. Haven't you read the latest CPI report? :spending:
