I tried my hardest to make you but it ended up as more of a Serj Tankian mad scientist rather than you with dino nuggets and a plasma cutter

Ha. Nah just never had reasons to go.
Dropped in a few times while living in a cabin in PA where WM was the only large store around after putting the mom and pops out to pasture and conveniences weren't easy to come by outside of it. I doubt I'd be saving any money there over my regular old grocery store though.

I priced the metal on one of my designs the other day and to just accomplish the framing for a full drop square camper back (bed delete) was a bit short of $1900

That’s not too bad. I think the 80/20 on the wedge design really drives it up. That alone is $1200 by the time it gets to my door..
So your design is a full bed replacement, any popup or just static like a slide in bed camper?

Vertical pop up rather than wedge. I wasn't planning to use much of that extruded aluminum, was actually planning on building the flatbed portion out of regular steel and the rest of the camper out of aluminum square/c channel

I live two minutes from a metal supplier so no shipping

Yeah the shipping on the extrusion was $400, mainly because the longest are ~100”. Next revisions will be testing reduced/eliminated extruded sections.

That sounds like a cool build though, would it be for the 96 or do you have another truck

Oh yeah the shipping is more expensive than I thought holy crap. It's going to be for my 96, I have to take my bed off really soon to box the rear portion of my frame and I was going to use a long weekend to build a frame for the flatbed so I could take it off and build the rest of the design in the shop and use the truck this summer still with the normal bed and camping setup I have on it. I don't want to miss any of this Wheeling season

First impressions of the 70-200 f2.8 are good. Should have tried it before the sun set but the AMG still looked great!

Good to see they've made zero progress on that construction downtown

We don't care what you drive or how you camp as long as you are in a Toyota product. We're out to have fun, eat good food, and let the kids play.

Dude we have construction everywhere, some roads are rough as shit where they've tapped into water mains and paved over it with their eyes closed. It's terrible. Then I come back home one county over and the roads are rough from being worn out. Honestly since I moved I realized how stuff my cars suspension is, before it wasn't an issue.
