TRD Off Road built 4/4 arrives 4/8

Traded in my 2021 for a 24. Reserved allocation on 3/27 for a 4/4 build date. Arrived at dealer 4 days after. Crazy fast!

Siiiiiick. Mine went into production today and I sign the final papers Friday... if I get that early next week, that'd be amazing.

 

Nice, same as my allocation was. Both are nice but that army green…

 

I would not recommend signing for anything until you’ve inspected it, and driven it extensively.

 

I’m trying to be optimistic but I saw that new manual thread and the vibrating hood. Not surprising given my test drive of one but was hoping for maybe just a few off ones.

 

I've got a good relationship with the GM and have purchased multiple vehicles from him this way. He'll make sure everything is right, should something happen.

 

I would have waited until 2nd year of new gen but good for you, share it with us once you get the truck

 

Yeah, problem is I've been waiting for the new gen Taco for years... I was hoping we would have saw it in 2023 and then that would make 2024 the second year of 4th gen. Unfortunately at this time, my need for a truck is starting to out weigh my urge to wait.

 

Sweet truck!! Those Off Road rims just keep looking nicer and nicer to me.

So a truck can get built in 1 day in another country, shipped, pass whatever quality control and given to the customer in 4 days or they tell you a build date but the truck already exists somewhere that was previously built?

 

I gotta be honest…Gen 4 is starting to grow on me.

One would have to assume "build date" is the day it is considered "built" and not the day they start building it.
