Truck driver b.s.

Ahh, off today, and the next 2 days........I think a motorcycle ride is in my future. The weather is getting nice for riding.

Hopefully the clouds break and I can see the eclipse.

 

Not looking to good here. Gonna be playing truck driver tomorrow and Wednesday. Going up to Columbus OH to pick up ROPS for my b7100 Kubota tractor. A TW member has them and it will give me a chance to see how I can do on long distances after my back surgery.

 

I still use a lumbar pillow in the work rig and it's been over 15 years since my back surgery. It helps. Get one for your trip.

Good morning driver's, hope everyone has a great and safe day today.
I'm playing truck driver today, driving up to Columbus to pick up the ROPS for my tractor from TW member Lt. Dangle. Going to see how the back does. Hope it goes smoothly for me .
Pulled out the ol straight line ruler and running about 50 miles shorter than GPS wants but slower because of the back roads

 

Pulled a muscle in my back lifting a tool box top chest yesterday while rearranging my garage. Forgot I'm not a young man anymore. Good thing I'm not working today.

 

Wednesday morning, back to work today. Back is still not good. Gonna be a tough one to get through the day. Only 3 days left this week, I like that.

 

Drove up to Columbus, OH turn and burn drove up Tuesday and met TW member Lt. Dangle. Picked up a set of ROPS for my B7100. What a great guy.
Back did good 1 step closer to returning to work.

 

Glad your back is doing better, mine isn't yet. OK when I'm laying down, or sitting in the truck, not standing or walking.
Rained all nite, supposed to rain all day and again tomorrow.

11 hours today, blew another airbag on the trailer lift axle again. Plugged the air line to get it back to campus and get unloaded. Probably have to take it to service in the morning. I had down pressure it just wouldn't go up.

Back was feeling a little better until I had to swap trailers. Landing gear on the old 3 axle sucks! It's hard even with a healthy back. But there getting rid of it as soon as the new trailers are ready, graphics, etc.

 

Got the medical card renewed. All good.

 

State sent me an email that my med card was going to expire. I thought: damn, then I wouldn't be able to drive...that would be a shame!
