I’m not sure the KO2 makes the cut. I don’t think it comes in a P rated, C Load tire. The E Load weighs 50 lbs. Lots of rotating mass on a 4 cylinder that won’t see much off road action.

And they don’t exactly give them away…

I’m pretty sure the Falken AT4 is a 45 pound tire at 265/70/16.

Not sure what the OP considers light, but factory Wranglers are 37, as a starting point only.

I haven’t looked into their weights much but I do know it’s a heavier tire so that would definitely make sense.

Totally agree with SL baja boss. Lighter than most other options at 42? lbs and looks excellent

Yeah I’ve never heard a bad thing or read a bad review of that tire, other than how heavy the E rated ones are.

The only negative of the SL is that MT removed the aggressive looking sidewall biters that the E load has. Pics are stolen from the Baja Boss megathread. I'd say the ~16lb difference is worth it.

Yeah I agree, that’s a lot of weight if you don’t need the extra protection of an E rated tire!

Hard to work tire gloss into knobby sidewalls anyway.

I just got AT4Ws (265/75/16 SL rated). My truck does see dirt though but is usually not heavily loaded. Before and after pics (it had 265/70/17 K02s). The K02s suck in the wet so I wanted something better. No rubbing with the slight increase in tire size.

Another vote for Maxxis Razr 811 AT’s. Probably lightest AT at 43# in 285/70/17 size. I’ve had on my truck now for 25k miles no issues. Fairly quiet, no balancing issues, and look good.

Being light weight has helped to maintain good mileage.

Good advice on P rated and avoiding LT. OP mentions they won't offroad, and people go off with their favorite E rated LT tires.....classic.

My Rubitreks. 265/70/16…42 pounds, extremely quiet.
