I just wish that dorky snorkel wasn't on the trail hunter 4runner.

 

It's so low profile you barely notice it , besides if you plan on mall crawling just buy the platinum

 

In one of the videos, I think TRD Jon, you can hear the snorkel sucking air every time the engine accelerated. Obnoxious. You will notice it.

 

Fingers crossed it can be removed and blocked off or better yet ordered without the dorky snorkel. It really detracts from the whole looks of the vehicle.

Its trash. Ditto the moronic dash speaker. Did the 4Runner escape that ridiculous accoutrement?

 

Not sure, I know I'd be the one to take it out and leave it somewhere.

 

Sr5 is base. The other 8 trims just grow exponentially in price

 

Negative. Removable speaker carried over to the 4Runner was well.

 

4Runner looks pretty fab. But I’m sure the poverty trim will have a dork factor. Different bumpers, weird seat fabric, etc.

 

We first saw the Tacoma Pro & TH last May, and as of today don’t know the price. Hopefully that will change within the next week.

If recent history is our guide, then there’s also a good chance that Toyota will elect to not reveal 4R prices for a while. That’s problematic if someone is deciding between the two, or also factoring in the LC. Lots of incentive to wait a while for all the details to come out, before spending money.

 

The JBL Dash speaker is also an option for the 4runner. Same as the Tacoma

 

I am not expecting to see any pricing on the 4 runner until August/Sept...and if they stick to their moronic roll out...anything with the Hybrid not to be seen until 4 months later.

That could be different with the T4R since they are already building the Land Cruiser in the same factory with the hybrid powertrain...There shouldn't be any reason to wait, but so far they have been sticking to that roll out plan with the other multi powertrain BOF's

 

I found it odd no one said the 4r hybrid is out next spring....does that mean it is also out in the fall?

 

I get the idea you are right and we won't have to wait for the hybrid. With the taco they told us eight away spring same with tundra. I have heard no one say that of the 4R

 

For me it’s more than wishful thinking but I’m leaning toward a 4R TH in Everest. Now if the 25 Tacoma offers Everest, I’d have to think more about it. also depends on comfort and price.

I can get or rent a trailer for hauling things if needed.

 

they are chosen to hype these products. Telling people it’s going to be cheaper will have us all discussing it until the price is officially released in 2026 lol

Huh...they are out in 2024...this year
