Still have 2 raptors to cut so hoping I can buy some steel today to cut over the weekend

This was the raptor, before clean up (already shipped)



And the Pterodactyl all cleaned and ready to ship

 

What does the page say that you ordered from? It's not uncommon in the off-road world to have 2-3 month wait times. Nobody can really answer this without more info

 

I made a springer spaniel yesterday out of scrap and an old coil spring. I didn't plan too much and just started cutting and welding. He's inside now but he'll be an outside dog.

Mine got rehomed a few weeks ago

 

My wife wanted the baby monitor installed just off and above the crib, but didn't want holes in the wall or the crib, so I made a mount:

Complete with foam bits on the bearing surfaces so it doesn't mark the crib.

I was told this was overkill and took too long... To which I responded that my alternative was to model it have it 3d printed (from a print service), which would have taken longer.

 

You should ziptie the cord up out of the way, so the baby can't grab it and pull it out.

 

Cable management and a 1/4" neoprene wrap on the mount are in the works

 

Ours used only 1 screw so why not

 

I don't know, but I got to go play with my tools rather than change diapers, so I was happy to not make holes in things

I need to move our monitor though and this is good inspiration for a mount, thanks. We rent (ugh) and get charged per hole in the wall on move-out.

 

The plastic cablesleeves are great for hiding cables, they have 3M double sided tape (foam) so it sticks to the wall nice and tight



Came with the camera but they're available everywhere

 

Pretty sure it's pottery barn My only suggestion would be to make the "mast" higher than I did by ~2"...

Just mocked it up with card board first, and then cut the pieces from 16ga bar stock, 3/16" for the mast to match the gap in the plastic monitor mount. The mount strap, I cut V shaped wedges with the cut off wheel, folded them over and only had to weld the cut side. Really only took 2 hours from start to finish, plus whatever time for the paint to dry. The mount is as wide as the space between the rails so fingers wouldn't fit between the mount and rails.

 

Made another shoe rack for my brother. He swapped out my motor mounts and I made this in exchange for the work.

 

Less than 5 months ago, water table was completely cleaned



This is all the crud just between a few slats now



Nice to finally touch the bottom of the water table but holy shit there's so much crud



Still have 2/3 left to clean

Dino #4 in less than a week



Dino #5 gets cut tomorrow while this one gets cleaned up and packaged

 

Gonna have to start keeping things on the " down low". Don't want the tax man to come knocking.
