It's pretty small as far as major cities go. Isn't much down there

There are a lot off 55+ communities which are much cheaper to buy in..
Pisses me off everytime I think I see a good deal until I see I can't live in it, but for her would be a good option.

If you work on your truck those communities are awful anyway, they tolerate nothing but absolute silence and clean un-parked driveways.

    Thats funny.
Yeah thats right down the road from my office, were off of Hardy by Elliot. I used to live right up the road at Kyrene and Baseline, was a great like 7 minute commute. Have since moved about 15 min away unfortunately.

I would think you could own it but just not live in it? Honestly don't really have any idea though.

Main reason being that I make more than her (at least, compared to what her retirement will be)

On top of me using my VA benefits, I'd need to be primary, not to mention being a 3rd home I'd need to 'fake it' that it'd be a permanent residence as normally a second home (or anything after) require many times +20% down if isn't your primary

Had to show proof I was renting out my other house before we moved into the one we have now

That is crazy, it was a nice little complex, not enough parking but the management was cool

Yeah, I was lucky enough to claim one of the few covered spots my company rents. It is nice and quiet, although we did have a homeless guy throw a rock through our window a few months ago :anonymous:

There was a coyote mom and her pups when I worked there that would sleep on our stoop in the mornings. They were cute, don't remember seeing many homeless in Tempe or Ahwatukee

My dude discovered the thing first night he slept in it; he'd stare at it as if he was challenging you

Same thing with the other one in the corner, except I've actually used that to talk to him so he expects a voice from any camera now
