If you bought the carded bug rod it didn’t have the roof rack. You had to buy the set if you wanted that one.

I got home after work and realized there is a lot of chores to be done; dishes, laundry, yard work. So... disappear to the hobby room and forget about the chores. ;)
Wheel swaps. I ran out of the replacement rubber wheels so started to recycle the ones that I have removed before.

It’s funny how sometimes they are just barely different. There was a mainline skyline back in 2015 or 2016 same car, but one had a roll cage, and one did not.

I’ve been snagging those mandalorian premiums that nobody wants for $2 on fat discount just for wheel swaps. I try to grab discounted premium for the wheels. Used these ”steelies” from the fronts of 2 mandalorian el Caminos. Plan on using the rears on a truck some day. If you buy two of the Mickey Mouse Disney six wheeler premiums, then you have enough for 3 cars.. IMG_3620.jpg

Yes, I have bought some just to get the wheels. Or just swap between two different trucks; a street truck and off-road truck and vice versa.

I have bought these rubber tire ones with fairly good looking wheels in different colors from TEMU. They are about $7 for 5 sets, so it's not bad.

did you drill a hole in that spare on the Rampage and stick it on the hitch?

gotta say i hate the brown tires but that looks good

I just glued it on with super glue. I sanded the axle part down a little so that the tire sits up against the tailgate. Then glue on the axle and on the bumper. It's offset, to the left of the hitch.

Somehow I ended up with two grey FJ's and white Hiluxes - anybody want to trade? Interested in Toyotas only. I know I'm missing all of the 4Runners and there was an FJ truck too that I'd love to get my hands on.

There is a Hot Wheels version of something similar. Looks like a kid designed a firetruck for the moon is the best way I can describe it. I've seen it in red and now blue...do you have both already?
