So another point against the Hewitt SAIS delete, my truck has started going into Limp mode again, on the highway, you know, when I'm trying to pass traffic in the fast lane. P2440 and P2442 codes. They say they have a limited lifetime warranty so we'll see if they replace it. Pretty sick of this, going to start looking into the HP tuner a lot more now.

I got a hefty raise couple months ago, now I just want a desk job.

 

sitting down all day can be nice.... but also bad funny how that works lol

 

I think for my lifestyle, sitting down is the best option. Summer months + hearing aids + plus being a fella who sweats waterfalls, I'm trying to be done with outdoor jobs. I always have to take my hearing aids out which I hate doing because I cannot hear anyone or if I wanted to jam out to music while working, I cannot do that either.

Currently studying up IT and taking cybersecurity courses. Will take my CompTia A+ exam soon enough hopefully. Be an IT help desk guy...

 

ya i never worked outside but my last job i was a machinist that had no ac and basically no vents for the heat to get out... it was not a fun time but i did keep pretty damn slim because of it haha. i can see your issues being annoying af thou... hopefully you get a desk job man!

 

Oh, I would probably melt in your position. Props to you and Josh and all the other hardworking fellas out there. I've worked concrete in hot heat, so I can imagine that.

 

oh its nice af here man! we got ac and seats and computers lmao it was my last job that was miserable... we had to take heat breaks normally 2-3 times a day since it would be over 100 in the shop and they would give us old expired Gatorade or melty popsicles to cool us off... the worse day ever was when i had to go inside a machine and clean it out. like all the metal chips grease and all that stuff (very fancy machine that if oooone thing was wrong it wouldnt work so we had to clean every inch of it) it was 98 outside and well over 100 in the shop and i was sitting in a machine in jeans and boots with a cotton work shirt trying to clean this machine out without cutting my self on all the shit in there...

 

Both of yall, @ResearchMonkee and @Calamity_taco having red tacos in your pfps are really throwing me trying to follow the thread. I keep thinking you're just over here talking to yourself.
