Gosh I’m lucky I only need to sip water in between drives except on vacations or when driving for a weekend camp in the mount trips. Just like when I was a child I could drink water once we got where we were going!

We got the gas platinum and so far it’s been great. We’ve had it for a couple months but took a trip from MD to FL and back, 950 or so miles each way. Really handles well, and a nice ride. Quiet for the most part besides some of the highway in SC, where it was grooved and getting ready to be repaved.

We got the platinum for a few reasons, wife wanted pano camera and moonroof. Those two added to the limited get pretty close to platinum price. We also couldn’t get a limited without a bunch of port installed items, which would have been more than a platinum. The other items we’ve found really nice are the heads up display, sound system and then heated and vented seats in the middle row.

we decided on a gas model over a hybrid for a couple reasons. First was the local dealers were putting 2.5-5K mark ups on them. Second, my wife and kid don’t like the hybrids. I had a Prius before the Tacoma and for some reason, they hated it and thought it was from the hybrid system, not really sure. They were also a couple months out, if we could get the options we wanted.

Possibly a long shot, Anyone with window visors and a double cab, but only have the visors on the front windows? Curious to see what it looks. Leaning towards weather-techs.

adjusted my 6112's (non-upgraded spring)yesterday for the 4th time now over a year.... and final time lol. Added a 1/4" tophat spacer on driver side and both sides at notch 9. Much more stable then notch 10 and no tippy unstable feeling with the swaybar removed with a heavy load or multiple passengers. I almost left it but glad I did the R&D.

    Itz JDM tyte, yo!
Installed the OEM power tailgate lock (Part Number PK3B6-35JS0) on my ‘22 Tacoma. I included a picture of the actuator.

Install is pretty straightforward following the instruction sheet linked below as well as referring to several videos on YouTube:

    http://toyotaparts.sparkstoyota.com/install/PK3B6-35JS0inst.pdf

Make sure to leave between 1-3 hours depending on expertise. I took my time taking me about 2 hours to install. I’d also make sure the grommet with the wires for the cab is properly seated all the way around

Finally finished the install of the Auxbeam switch unit. Took me a couple weeks figuring out @switch ‘s mounting hardware, going through the firewall, waiting for parts from Amazon, rerouting a couple interior switches to make room for a front camera switch in the main console, and final install. Feels good when I clicked on the interior pieces for the last time, at least for this mod.

Wish I had better pics but mine came with weather techs on the front only, I never thought it looked weird but I took them off cause I’m not a fan of visors in the first place :D

Oil change at the dealership today, coupon sent for $29.95. Can't beat that. Funny how they recommended to replace the air filter and cabin filter for $190. No thanks, I'll do that myself.

That's a good price for having a certified Toyota mechanic install for you. "Insert FOFL" here.
