    Hello

I didn't see this question and thought it would be a good question. I recently bought a 1st generation tacoma and my positive battery terminal wires are a mess. I question the grounds too, but that's not what this is about.

In the book it states that's there's two wires from positive one to starter and one to the fuse box. Neither are red but that's OK it keeps it safe. My question is. Is there a way do disconnect the positive cable from the fuse box, at the box? It's not covered in the book.

Yes you have to separate the box to get to the bolt that holds the lug on. This means unmounting it and separating the top half from the bottom half. I believe it's just held together with small clips.

I see. Looks like the wire is connected that stud/bolts.

Actually I'm not too sure my sentence was correct. Looking at the photo, I'm wondering what the wire is. Is that the old wire just disconnected? I have a feeling it is, but just want to make sure? It looks explanatory With the stud being next to the fuse for the wire to go to the stud.
