Holy shit man. So sorry to hear this. That’s terrible news! Please let me know did there’s anything I can do! I feel terrible for you. Happy you’re alive! Not happy that the spill was that bad.

I think this confirms I don’t need a bike. I’ve just heard too many horror stories from people I know or people that are in relation to me.

I don’t have gas. Plus the calcium in the water would clog up the tubes over time.

I'm going down the "solar" rabbit hole. This is gonna be a pain in the ass. I just want to tell someone what I'll use and then them tell me what panels, controller, batteries, etc to buy

Found this site. Gave me a great idea of what will be needed

    Solar Power Calculator – BougeRV

The fridge, A/C, lights, and charging phone will really be the only thing I use.....but I went bigger. It's gonna run me about $1500 for what I want.

Look at the operating temps for the LIFEPO batteries. Below 32F they won't charge.

I saw that. For my end uses....the weight savings may outweigh that fact. I don't know how often I would be in a freezing situation. Plus being in an insulated camper may help(not sure there). I've got 6 months before I have the monies to start in on it.......so I know what I'll be watching/reading at work :D
