    minor tweaks
2 reasons; The computer lacks historical data so it's learning plus the vehicle is also breaking in, about 10~12K mi is when most of the new vehicles I've owned started getting their typical mileage seen over the rest of the vehicle's life.

Yes, that's what I meant. The service department called it a reserve tank which is built into all vehicles so I'm told.

Not sure what you mean by a number or the gauge. I read 10 miles till empty, fill up the tank took 14 gallons of fuel. The gauge at full, shows 265 miles till empty. it apparently doesn't calculate what the reserve holds

Good and bad about it. It has comfortable seats, good
display system, many driving modes ( sport, sport 2, eco, comfortable, etc). Back seat is really small but has some storage under the seat. There is so much new technologies on it, it's somewhat overwhelming. Even the service department wasn't sure about all of it. I really dislike the way the gas gauge calculates and I feel the tank is too small and the reserve is too large makes it hard to determine when you should refill since an empty tank upon refill never shows more than 265 miles till empty when in fact there is about another 4 gallons in reserve. I am not a fan of driving with the low fuel indicator on when I can go another 100 miles (approximately). According to Toyota, I should only be able to drive another 50 miles before I am completely out of fuel. I haven't used the 4x4 yet to see how it handles off road. Good head room for taller people. Pretty spacious interior in the front seats. Everyone that has riden with me says it's comfortable. So I guess it's really what you need or want in a vehicle. I for one, if taking a long trip don't want to stop and refill the tank every couple hundred miles or drive with the low fuel indicator on. That would be my biggest draw back.

There’s a quantity gauge and a digital mile number. Two different displays.

oh, yes. I look at both. I've driven a total of 726 miles and have filled the tank 2 times plus the dealer filled it when I bought it so 3 times filled. The first fill the truck had 5 miles on it. 2nd fill showed 40 miles till empty. the last fill showed 10 miles till empty. it also showed 20.8 miles to the gallon. so roughly 265 miles to a tank but that doesn't equate to 20 mpg

Think they mean this gauge. When it reads 40 miles till E does it show anymore filled in bars underneath the miles...

When the low fuel warning light comes on, you should have a couple of gallons left. If it isn’t doing that, it’s faulty.

Are you driving your truck until that warning light comes on?
