I feel like they missed the mark with the iForce (non-MAX) pricing. All trims to date are $5,000 (possibly more) above the point where people will even begin to think about buying one. This puts them in a bit of a pickle as far as the MAX models go.

I used to think is was crazy for anyone to spend $53,000 for a Tacoma Pro.

The 2024s are not going to sell at the currently planned price points.

I get the feeling they are going to put the Hybrid on top of a mandatory Premium Package, $$$$$$$$$$$$.

The price trajectory is definitely up.

I need to search back and find the comments about 65 and 70k Tacomas. When a lot of people were saying that was insane. Doesn’t seem so now.

A Limited Tacoma (there are no options except mudflaps) is 53.6K. A similarly equipped Limited Tundra is 61.2K, a $7,600 difference.

Using that math with the Tundra Pro costing 74K, the Tacoma Pro will be 74-7.6= $66,400.

Is it possible to see a real-time list of TSBs for the 2024 Tacoma (or any other model)?

    Thanks.

This is what an extra $11,700 gets you on a ZR2:

ALL FEATURES INCLUDED WITH ZR2 BISON EDITION:
    • AEV steel skid plates
    • AEV stamped steel front and rear bumpers
    • 17" LT315/70R17 blackwall 35" OD MT tires
    • 17" Beadlock capable carbon flash metallic wheels
    • AEV wheel flares
    • Multimatic Jounce Control Dampers
    • Bed-Mounted Vertical Spare Tire Carrier
    • All-weather floor liner, with AEV logo
    • AEV branded front head restraints
    • Black AEV® and Colorado exterior badging
    • ZR2 Bison Pick-up bed side decal
I think the Pro/TH upgrade over an OR is a better package for (likely) less money.

Bison has jounce dampers on all four corners. Pro has rear dampers only.

Not saying your choice is wrong but I want ventilated seats. That's worth at least 1K. 23 vs 17 combined mpg means a 3K savings over just four years. Minor things like a larger horizontal vs vertical display are important to me. The price difference, when you factor in additional tech/options and operating costs, is not that different.

We were down in FL a couple weeks ago with my wife’s Grand Highlander, which has ventilated seats and it was great! Definitely worth it in that environment. I could see the benefit being higher when it’s much hotter too.

Sport with 265/18s and a 1.5" leveling kit looks pretty good. Rear fender creases almost makes it look like a stepside.

I'm fine without the ventilated seats. The front locker, 2.5 fox shocks, long travel suspension, AWD and 4 ft between wheel wells convinced me go this route. I'd prefer a horizontal display too although the roomier ( not by a whole lot ) back seat is a bonus. This time around I was looking for a turn key ride, not getting involved with modifications.....tires, suspension, bumpers etc.....the mileage is the same as my lifted 20 off-road with wild peaks that aren't quite 33s. Some reported close to 20 mpg even.
