love that area, 4S01 is the main road up black mountain(West/NW side of jacinto) lots of really great yellow post campsites up there with awesome views. In one spot up there on a clear day you can even see the Cabazon dinosaurs!

It was one of my favorite places to camp in the winter months. Appearantly now they close the road in winter...pretty disappointing

Yup, it was from 8 years ago. Yeah they close it down in the winter now. Whole bunch of trails now close in the winter/ rain

My rear diff is getting fixed on the 22nd. If the rest of the truck doesn't fall apart by then, that weekend would be fun!

Also it was $96.00 to fill up the truck yesterday at Costco. what the actual F.

That's honestly the main reason I haven't been able to take the truck on many trips lately. The 4.0's too darn thirsty on 35s to the point I almost wish I'd stayed on 285s haha. I think my last AZ trip was $500 alone in gas for a weekend.

100% the same. I've driven the truck maybe 500 miles since before Christmas. Cant afford to take it out due to 91 octane and 35's... even the basic 4runner is getting expensive. 50mpg street bike time.
