I appreciate that. It's just me being silly because my Dad bought me the coffee maker. It's a Keurig, a really nice one. The kid ordered a replacement, but I was pissed because he was trying to descale it without knowing the proper procedure and not watching it. It overheated, which could have been avoided if he were paying attention.

Sounds like you've done a good job of raising him.

When I read this, I definitely feel like an asshole for being hard on him about it.

I think I more or less got lucky. I was never around as much as I should have been. He is a good kid.

If you used RO water in it, you could go decades between descaling.
    Just saying.

The instructions for my coffee maker say to use a vinegar and water mix to descale it.
    Vinegar,,,,
The cleaning people at work use vinegar and lots of it to clean the bathrooms. So the smell of vinegar reminds me of,,,,
    Well take a guess.

So, I don’t cater to only prerunners or even off-road in general. I do all of it.

But this steering is the absolute strongest option. It is no longer a rack. Rather one of the most proven steering boxes on the planet. The Saginaw 800.

Numerous different steering ratios are available. For instance, my truck is 1 turn lock to lock. So super fast steering with a heavy wheel. (Requires lots of input). But going with a higher ratio box would yield 2+ turns and a light wheel just like factory. But with an immense amount of strength.

This is setup to utilize hydraulic assist which is a two fold benefit. You can move bigger tires easier, while also taking significant load off of the box/pitman arm its self.

This could but put on a stock control arm truck or a full on J arm. However it involves an immense amount of work to install. But again, it’s miles ahead of any steering rack you could ever buy.

Any pictures/video of an install? Not afraid of a bit of fab work. Have some tools and skill set. Need more information on what you have going there.

Not necessarily. It seems like a lot of the new diets trend towards fat being OK, in moderation, and reducing carb intake.

I use a dab of bacon grease in my collard greens. I tried to stick to olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper, but they just weren't very good. A little spoonful of bacon grease, or butter makes a world of difference.

I also use it on Brussel sprouts.

Radiator needs to be moved 3” forward. Front crossmember the diff and steering currently mounts to needs to be cut out. Basically involves redoing the entire structure of the front clip.

Definitely a not for everyone type of solution.

Not trying to discourage people from buying it. But the reality is it’s a very involved setup and won’t be cheap. But if you’re trashing racks left and right, it’s truly the only solution.

So, do you sell what I see fabed up there as the under support for the radiator? I am making a front bumper next year, so will be in there and have that area exposed... Old frame tech, so not worried about the body/sheet metal work involved.

It will be on the end user to figure out moving the radiator/core support situation as everybody has their trucks setup differently.

Would include, crossmember, diff mounts, steering box, center link, tie rods, hydro assist ram, plumbing, drag link and all necessary hardware/brackets.

This is all in prototype stage and these will not be for sale until everything is thoroughly tested and proven.

Once you’re into swingset steering I’d imagine you’re on your own since each front clip will probably be done different depending on fenders and radiator support.

Imagine solid axle swap levels of fabrication and cost but for LT IFS

That is correct. I will supply what’s necessary to make the steering function. However the end user decides how they want to approach it. Unfortunately just no way to make it simple and one size fits all. Even though it would work on trucks from factory mid travel to all out long travel.

I’m not going to spit to many specs, but bump steer is a true 0 through the entire range of motion. Ackerman is dialed, and there is absolutely zero loss of steering angle.

End game is SAS. This just gets things ready ahead of time. Sure there will be refabrication at that time, but no worries.
