NOW why would anyone hate you.

 

I fucking hate dealing with our 'healthcare' system . . . .
Every fucking time, some stupid bill that has no basis in reality aka what it actually costs for said service/Rx/etc..
They try to extort my insurance company, my insurance company says no and I get the bill???
And of course you can't ask what its gonna cost up front because no one actually knows..

I went in this morning for a follow up and on the notice I had to sign it says, you could be financially responsible for 25$ to 13,000$ if your insurance doesn't want to pay!! WTF!!!
Of course if I don't sign it, I can't see my doctor..

I had a minor operation about 8 years ago - supposed to be 100% covered by insurance
Afterwords I wind up getting a bill for like $2K for an out of network 'provider' [shit i definitely can't control]
I walked right into the financial whatever office and told them to pound sand
I was told it was covered, you can't make me pay 2K just because you feel like it after the fact
They didn't even try to argue and it went away

But it is complete horseshit; only in America can you be held liable for 10-100's of thousands of $$ in medical bills just because we feel like it
