    At 77yo, I am on my 4th Tacoma, 1st, 2nd and 3rd gens!! Living in a subdivision and older, just don't really need a truck, ....... so considering a move to a Forerunner.

    I wonder, for example, are the Forerunner seats any more comfortable than the Tacoma?? My Tacoma (22 SR5) seats are killing my Arse and lower back.

    Or are the same seats in both the Tacoma & Forerunner??

    Serious comments????:anonymous::crapstorm:

    4Runner will save your back! Had a gen 2 Tacoma 2013 which eventually killed my back and bought the wife a 2018 4Runner with powered seat and it is super comfortable. Also sold the gen2 and bought a gen 3 2023 Tacoma with the powered seat and it is also comfortable. I think the non powered Tacoma seats just wear out quickly.

    4runner is an SUV, SUV is always more comfortable than a pick up. 4runner is also very solid SUV, good old V6, full frame and just overall capable. However, its not pick up so its bit more expensive, and also it has less space inside.

    I rented a '23 4Runner SR5 for a few days and I found that the ergonomics on the 4Runner are better than the Tacoma for the front seats. It's more like a truck seating position than the Tacoma

    I also rented a 4Runner, for a business trip. 8-hour drive to Boston. Agree 100% - ergonomics are better than the Taco.

    I went from a 2019 Tacoma to a 2023 4Runner. The 4Runner is more comfortable to me. Rent one for a few days to see for yourself, I believe they are a common rental.

    I just sold my 2011 Tacoma (something I never thought I'd do) and bought a '23 4Runner SR5 Premium. I'm 69 and was looking for more comfort. I'm extremely pleased with the change. My off-roading days are behind me. Don't need the super aggressive offroad tires anymore. The 4Runner is built like a tank (in a good way) and is much more comfortable IMO. Go test drive one and see.

    I rented regularly with National Emerald Club at one point. They aren't as abundant as your typical bland Chevy Malibus and Nissan Altimas, but there's a fair amount of them there
