That's about $27 worth of wire right there... Some patience and electrical wire and you're in business.

    Oil change @ 600.3 hours.
The vacuum makes the job EZ.

:gossip: Although these do have a toolless drain valve that I believe @koditten has slight opinions against. :boink:

3ed Gen folks whine about their oil filter, this one isn't exactly convenient.

You haven't been here in the shop all that long to know the back story - I have had several colorfully worded mowing adventures over the years.

I don't really mind the mowing, it's the tire repairs that drive me round the bend. :goingcrazy:

    A few of my moments:

Piece of tree took off the valve stem -
way up in the woods -
    on a steep hillside -
it was an @$$ kicker lugging tools & tires back and forth :bananadead:

Hit a small (Gibraltar size apparently) rock lurking beside the road.
    This one was expensive.

    Always tires... :annoyed:

Then there is that "funny noise"...

    ...and the occasional blade...

    Pro tips:
    1) Zero turn mowers make a hard turn if a rear tire suddenly goes flat.

    2) They don't glide for crap if your hard turn happens to be over the edge of a bank.

    3) Flying off the lawn at midnight is quite an unexpected surprise.

    4) Crashing into the ditch after falling three or four feet kind of hurts...

@RustyGreen I was just razing you about the day you were having with the mower and mowing. No harm was intended.

I don't recommend 600 hour oil change intervals. Might want to narrow up that window.

The factory interval is 100 hours which I think is insane for 1.5 quarts of oil.

I think that is part of the problems people (consumers) had with the Courage engine, they see "100 hours" and off they go.

100 hours is a butt ton of mowing miles with a ZT, the average consumer might go 10 years.

I mow way more than "normal" people doing 7 (or so) lawns and might hit 50 hours in a year.
This machine got a 5 hour first oil change then every 50 hours after, it is a 2006.
