Other truck is short bed with hard cover, already tasked for ops.

Puddle Jumper is long bed. Better suited for truck thangz

Factory hard trifold doesn't fold the final section up. But hard lockable storage makes for a better tool truck/mobile workshop/music gear hauler/double cab has car seat and kid stuff hauler.

As for the long bed, spare tire carrier, might rethink the bed mat situation, gonna redo the jack and shovel mounts, might sneak the max track mounts port side a c hair. Nothing ridiculously huge, but things that still need to be done.

true i have a aftermarket trifold and thats one thing i do really dislike about it.... ive thought about getting rid of it for a roll up one but eh i already got this one and dont want to buy another..

could you fit the spare underneath? ive seen a few people put it down there. the bed mat is honestly great i loved the one i had in my 13 and wish i had one in the 15... where does all that mount at? im guessing down in the bed so it takes up room ya?

Exactly. The factory trifold came on the double cab truck since I bought it used. Previous owner had a ton of the factory farkle which was fine with me. Got all the bug Shields and the sun shields and a few other little odds and ends. Truck looks nice though.

Yes, I can modify the carrier underneath to accept the 33, the tire currently rides in the bed because when crawling and Wheeling and windrock having it underneath actually decreased my departure angle and more than a few times I bounced off the tire coming off a rock and I'd rather not do that. Especially if I need the spare to.. You know, be a spare.

But for truck duties it could definitely go back under there.

yuup its a bummer since the trifold is so great for everything else but truly does suck for that bit. ya mine had a few things on it from the old people that owned it lol i still never understood the steps since the tires they put on the truck were two sizes smaller then the oem size for it lol. when i went and looked at it i had to double check and make sure it was a true 4x4 it just sat low!

ya id do that and put it down there when not wheeling and when wheeling take it out so you have access to it. i have no interest in wheeling anymore so ill eventually throw my spare underneath as well but lazy lol

Switching all the parts to the other truck to make the double cab the off-road truck?

Also picked up a slightly used/loved costal off road bumper for it for very few dollars

Oh nice. I need to buy one.... I just can't decide if I want a swingout or not... Or dual swing outs lol
Plus flatbed is on the table if the DIY kits come out at a reasonable price.
