smashed this, broke that, covered it up with tape and paint
I use two of the green ones
They fit good in the bed but barely fit under my bed topper
So if you have a topper that may be a concern

They pour super slow and leak badly, not sure how they acquired a CARB cert. At least with the VP jug I can use a battery op mini pump that uses a cap like whats on it, can empty the tank in under 4 minutes.

And the latest revision they changed the opening and incorporated a mesh basket so you cant use the fast spouts and the cap size is different.

Not a bad idea. But there aren't a lot of options, either. You're kind of limited to 3ish inch glass 6ish inch glass, and one piece tundra conversion clip for anything wider than that. 6" looks decent with a 4.5 kit and 35's+ and most people run the 3" glass other than that. All of them will not stop your truck getting covered in mud - mainly stop rocks being thrown at your windshield / hood.

    What size tires?
I love big but relatively small tires on these trucks with fenders and LT

Idk man; how bad you want to scrap this setup, get something else, and tell everyone about it, without just putting a go-pro under there and watching what happens - makes me think there's something you're not telling us or you got some kinda mental block that you don't want to come to grips with like you're scared of what the issue might be. More info about possible problems when modding these trucks would only help the community and a vid from a couple different angles would probably find the issue pretty easy. Also why not try keeping what's there and fabbing up new shackles/hangers? Wouldn't that be cheaper and about the same time as an entirely new kit?

I think he would if his whole steering / j arm / bumper project weren't currently in production.

IMO mcneil is like a perfect fit. My door gap is super small too. Much better than my experience with fiberwerx

Oh yeah, my mcneil +2 front were good, needed no work to make them look good...the rears were razor thin in some spots and it took too many beers to get the taillights to fit decently.

I need some recommendations on front bump stops. Not looking for hydro bumps due to fab work and $$...

I mean if that’s what you want to think, sure. But I knew it was an issue going into fall of last year. Never did put a camera under the truck. Mainly because I had intended on setting up my own geometry this winter.

Long story short my swingset took way more time to develop than anticipated. I just want to drive my truck at this point. And simply ditching the kit was the fastest way to get there. Faster I’m driving the truck the faster the swingset is tested and on the market.

There are legitimate problems with this kit. Not going to sit here and keep beating a dead horse though. I’m over it. And have been.

man I live in never-never fantasy land where I have all the skills to do whatever and the time to do a fraction of what I want and am capable of.
I just scanned the truck the other day and have a few more things to scan...
If the Mcneil is actually +3" from the OEM flare I'll just buy that instead of diving into this hole again... it seems like the only kit that has some of the features and styling ques I'm looking for.

But I am already committed to Scan -> form design -> 3D print molds -> carbon/glass for my MR2 as there is no proper aero wide body kit and I am extremely well regarded.

Save them penny's. Hydro is the only option.
