Continuing with my spring time tradition since purchasing the Tacoma; it’s ORV tag time:

All I know is be very careful with blind turns on those trails. I often saw SxS owners ripping carelessly through some of those trails.

Can anyone recommend an offroad shop around Brighton, MI, to do alignment? Getting ready to install Icon RXT leaf springs, Bilstein 6112/5160, and rims w/larger tires. Will need an alignment afterwards, but not sure where around me can do a competent alignment after the lift, etc.

    Thanks!

Hit up Nick at Insufficient Funds Offroad. Hes in Willis, MI. Awesome guy and real small shop. He installed Icons on my 3rd gen as well as a coilover upgrade and new wheels, tires (mounting, balancing, etc.) just wont do your alignment but he recommends a shop. Great prices too.

shoot them an email and tell them Jake sent ya

Thanks! I'll be doing the install myself next week and already got my wheels/tires ready and sitting in my garage, so just need a good alignment when done. Will check in with Nick and see who he recommends for alignment. I grew up in Ypsi and go between Brighton and Dundee a few times a week, so Willis area is perfect for me.

    That makes sense.

906 is the area code for that area.

Aha you guys put them on the back window? I've been putting them on the back bumper, which doesn't stick well due to the rough powder coating texture.

I talked to Nick at Insufficient Funds Offroad. He recommended using Mr. Muffler in Belleville to do the alignment. He said they know what to do for the trucks and that's who he uses for alignments. Hopefully next week I'll install everything then get alignment done. Thanks for the lead!

Yep. As long as they are easily visible, nobody will hassle you about the location. The window is nice because it’s easily to clean off too (if)when you remove them.

Yep, got an alignment for my 3rd gen done there and they did a solid job. Good group of guys there and got me in and out pretty quickly. Think I paid somewhere between $60-$80, cant remember exactly.

The window is not a good option if you are a Rain-X’er, I treated mine a year ago and I still can’t get a sticker to hold on very well..

People put Rain-X on things that aren't their windshield?

I sure do! Put it on all my glass. Makes the biggest difference by far on the windshield, sure, but I think it helps a little everywhere else too (with the exception of adhesion).

Wish I was closer. I hate my rubber mats in my Tundra. Been looking for carpet versions.

Good luck with finding them a home.
