Ah I was going to try to use the FR 300 this weekend for my AZT thru hike, but I guess I will have to skip that junction and make my hike a lot longer.

Id say your welcome to bring them and see how far we get? I'll let you all with things to tinker on figure out the order in which gets done! I figure Nitori would be up first on one side and i have room for two trucks on pavement and a side with dirt. I have some large drop cloths and two mig welders, One is flux core and the other is on gas. I have a feeling ill be burning and turning while other help pull shit off and put things back together!
EDIT Nitori: alignment tabs, cmc chop
    Bikinaz hammer hanger
    Time623 sliders
    Pilotboy trans cooler
    AzTaco stuff n things
Possibly 16 of you folks wanna come and Play, This will be fun!

Having done hammer hangers before, look at the rivets and get extra drill bits that size, preferably long ones. And an extra WD40. I learned the hard way when we snapped a bit.

We're also gonna need some chassis black paint for both us.

I can bring an ezup, a cooler full of whatever anyone likes, lots of paint, and funds to pitch in for whatever.

I was kidding about the hangers. It's a tough job and I'm sure we got people with real needs. Hangers are on my want list, but they're down lower on the list. They just happen to be something I don't feel young enough to do anymore, and I was gonna take advantage of you young whipper-snappers.

Fortunately my moral compass kicked in before that happened, and I remembered the original plan...winch first. Am i still invited after being a self centered son of a bitch?:anonymous:

Ah man I was about to take point on this since I've installed 6-8 sets at this point. Would've had you roadworthy within 2-3 hours.

You sure? I guess I could cut into my winch funds, and probably only OCD about it for a couple days. :argue:

Don't go buying them solely based on me, because I'm only 70% in for the mod day, but if it's something you're wanting to do anyways, they're a fantastic upgrade.

Hammer hangers were like hands down one of the best upgrades I did to my turd gen. You probably won't want my arthritic crispy ass helping but I have done em before. They're not too bad and I don't think it would be a total cluster having a CMC and cam tab gussets going in at the same time...

I'll contemplate the purchase for a day or two and we'll see where we are. Either way I assume that alcoholic beverages are acceptable?

Yeah everything I've read and heard has got me really wanting them. Plus they're on sale for $441 right now.

I've done two sets of them and its pretty easy. What makes them tough is the fact they full fenders in the way. CMC will take maybe an 45mins- an hour. I have plenty of drill bits and the 1/2" shorty they sold with the kit, grinders, sanding, and an air hammer to cut the rivets:thumbsup:
Yes please bring some shade, I've got the two we can pop up over the trucks on the slab.
No rush to purchase, but if they happen to fall into the cart we have enough able hands to get them installed. If you get the HC cross bar you'll be hauling your spare in the bed. Help is always a plus and they go pretty quickly once the old one is outta the way. Grind the head almost flat and air chisel the rest. smack it with a hammer and they come off. My stock set is still in usable shape if that helps. I do one side at a time to keep the axle happy.

Alcoholic beverages are always acceptable for enjoyment once the power tools are down. Well, the ones that can seriously maim you.

One close call while sober was enough for me to appreciate my “be sober” rule while wrenching and fabricating. Lemme see if I can find a pic, partially sliced my hand open.
