I have read a few threads in here discussing moving the ECT power button from the center to the left side of the dash. I purchased a harness to move everything but then I realized the switch blank I have open over there is a taller, narrower opening. Is there any solutions to add an additional blank in the smaller size? There is a lot of room. I have found a few panels that work with the cubby that used to be present but is not in my 2023 OR.IMG_5425 Large.jpg

Have you seen the mod to move it to the shifter?
    Better spot for ECT, IMO.

How often do you use it? if all the time then better with the mod "ECT on at start up".
I have had that for many years in my 2016.

While you're at it, consider moving the View button to the shift knob. I use it all the time now that it is more accessible. Then use that hole for ECT or better, move ECT to the shift knob too.

FWIW I set up both ECT and View to auto click on start. The View gets clicked 1 second after ignition, so this replaces the ~10s boot safety warning paragraph on the OEM headunit as soon as that text pops up with camera views. This is a bonus for always seeing cameras on initial takeoff, and I never have to wait for the safety warning to clear.

I thought about this but I would like to retain the original switch. I have seen it moved to near the ebrake too, which I might do but need to find a way to mount a single oem switch. I wish it was like my 2017 and had the traction control button up top.

They are custom made, so I think you just have the place the order and wait a few weeks for them to get around to making and shipping it. I could be wrong, but you could always message them and find out.

Edit: Yea, I see where it won’t even let you add it to cart. Maybe messaging them would help - not sure :/

I used a simple microcontroller to get the timing right. If a couple people want one I can ship out a couple at cost.
