How much weight you planning on pulling?

always depends tbh lol my family always has a need for a 3/4 ton or 1 ton with everything. they also just tow waay better

for me a tundra would be just fine but having a 3/4 ton would be great thou

oh i know and dont doubt they are. no? when it comes to full size trucks like a 3/4 ton id buy a durmax. now a old 7.3 turbo ford id prob buy since its a good engine lol but anything modern? hell nah to much money and meh overall

 

If I got a diesel, 7.3 all day. If I got a gasser it would either be a 6.0 or an 8.1 chevy/gmc. I'll settle with stealing my dad's 2500hd with the 6.0 for towing until I eventually get my own 3/4 ton or 1 ton. I'd prefer a 1 ton

Now if I could afford a brand new/newish 1 ton I'd probably get an F350 XL with the gas engine. Supervisors at work drive them and they can take a beating

 

I've still got it on my head that I want a 6.9l IDI. I've also never claimed to be a smart man.

My dad's F250 has the 7.3 Godzilla. Damn good engine.

 

If tord was still attaching three pedals to the godzilla, I'd probably already have one.

 

7.3 is a good engine and will just run. the 6.0 isnt bad but id go for the 8.1 over the 6.0 personally we had a 2500 gasser and maaaan it was kinda shit... it could tow yes but it wasnt great at it i guess

If a 1 ton is good, a 2.5 ton is better

 

and a 5 ton is even better! lol

Why stop there when you can just goto a 10 ton hemtt?

 

The 8.1 tows better also because it has a 5 or 6 speed transmission while the 6.0 only has a 4 speed. But the 8.1s are kinda hard to find in decent shape also

 

I've heard the 7.3 godzilla is an absolute beast. Wish the base model trucks came with it
